MAW Club Members. Please take time to review our 2026 proposed event schedule to be discussed AND voted on at the Thursday, February 5th, 2026 club meeting.
Quick Reference Key:
Orange = Club Meetings January through May, and October through December are held at the Pontoon Beach City Hall. June through September meetings held at the flying field under the pavilion.
Red = Club Event Date(s) (field reserved) Reservation times vary so please check club web site.
Black = MAW Practice Date for Upcoming Event (field open)
Green = Event at a Neighboring Club (these are away events, field is open)
Gray = Limited or No Support for Events

Suggestions and comments can also be emailed to midwestairwingevents@gmail.com. All items outlined in red and black are only a proposal for the MAW club members to vote on at the February club meeting.
If you are aware of dates for events at surrounding clubs that MAW members frequently attend, please let me know so I can block out those dates to prevent any overlap on event dates between MAW and surrounding clubs. Please take time to post comments and suggestions.

10/3 (Saturday Morning/Afternoon) Annual Turkey Shoot “Paint on a Plane”
- October 3rd – Annual Turkey Shoot.

- EVENT: Paintballs on airplanes advances participants to the Top Gun Round
- AWARDS: 1st through 3rd place
- TOP GUN: 13:00 Top Gun Round (Top 2 Shooters Compete)
- Fun for the entire family. Guests are welcome to participate. Open to the public.
Event Type: Annual Turkey Shoot. Open to club members and the public.
Field Status: Reserved runway based on winds. Alternate runway open to all club members flying. No “guest” flying.
NOTE: No over flight of active runway or event area. Use of a spotter required.
